Cathie Wood Ditches Palantir: Is She Finally Losing Her Touch?
Cathie Wood selling off Palantir after a 121% revenue surge? Seriously? Give me a break. Is she actively trying to tank her funds at this point? I mean, I get diversification and all that jazz, but dumping a stock that's clearly crushing it? It smells fishy.
What's the Real Deal with Palantir?
Okay, let's be real. Palantir is kinda creepy. All that data-mining, government contract stuff… it's not exactly sunshine and rainbows. But you can't deny the numbers. $1.18 billion in revenue? Up 121%? That ain't chump change. And Wood dumps almost $8 million worth of shares? Something doesn't add up.
“Palantir reported a revenue of $1.18 billion, surpassing the anticipated $1.09 billion, and adjusted earnings of 21 cents per share, beating the forecasted 17 cents per share.” So, let me get this straight: they beat expectations, and that's when you sell? What kind of backwards logic is that?
Meanwhile, she's throwing money at Bullish, this crypto exchange backed by Peter Thiel. Another one of those guys. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying crypto is inherently evil (though sometimes it feels that way), but betting big on a relatively new crypto exchange while ditching a proven performer like Palantir? It feels like chasing hype instead of actual value. Is she just trying to be contrarian for the sake of it?
And before you start thinking I'm some kind of Palantir shill, let me assure you, I'm not. I just hate seeing blatant stupidity disguised as "investment strategy." It's insulting to those of us who actually have to work for a living.

The Beam Me Up, Scotty Trade
Oh, and she bought more Beam Therapeutics. Okay, fine. Biotech is hot, I guess. And Roku? Sold. Makes sense. That company has been coasting on fumes for far too long.
But back to Palantir. The Benzinga thing says it's in the 97th percentile for momentum. So, it's got that going for it, which is nice.
You know what this reminds me of? That time I tried to "optimize" my diet by cutting out carbs. Lasted about three days before I was face-first in a pizza. Sometimes, the "smart" move is just sticking with what works. Maybe Wood should try that sometime.
Is This the End of the Ark Era?
I’m not going to lie, I used to think Cathie Wood was some kind of genius. She made some bold calls early on, and they paid off big time. But lately? It feels like she's lost her way. Maybe she's surrounded by too many yes-men. Or maybe the pressure of managing billions has finally gotten to her. Whatever the reason, this Palantir move just feels… wrong.
Then again, maybe I'm the crazy one here. Maybe she sees something we don't. Maybe she's playing some kind of 4D chess that's beyond my simpleton brain. But honestly, I doubt it.
Is This the Beginning of the End?
It's starting to look like she's gambling with other people's money at this point.
